In HELLDIVERS 2, You Can Now Bring Democracy to Xenos via Tank
Arrowhead Game Studios has released update 6.0.1 for HELLDIVERS 2. The main addition is a tank, now available for combat missions.
The update also includes weapon rebalancing, increased difficulty for high-level missions, and a new warbond, Siege Breakers.
Simultaneously, a new event has started in the game: Automatons have stolen the blueprints for the "Peace Star" superweapon on the planet Cyberstan. Players must unite for an urgent planetary assault to eliminate the threat.
The balance changes have affected melee weapons—their damage has been increased, but armor protection against them has been reduced. Pistols and submachine guns now have reduced recoil. Some enemies have become more effective against vehicles.
