In Lineage M, a new hunting zone has been opened for the first time in two years — and top-tier weapons were given right away

NCSoft rolled out what many players are already calling the biggest update to Lineage M in quite a while. For the first time since the "Petra Desert" (two years back), a new field zone appears: the Forest of the Hidden Seal. Talk to the NPC at the entrance to get in; after you reach 10k monster kills a direct teleport to the zone's center becomes available. The area drops weapon crafting mats and rings that boost attributes — collection items turn up there too.

They've also added the dungeon "Sanctuary of Flame" (opens hourly via an NPC watcher). A wandering mini-boss can spawn nearby; killing it opens a portal to the full boss, which hands out heavier rewards. Loot includes legendary recipes and rare rings, with weapons among the possible drops.

The headline grabber: 12 weapon types of the new "Girtas" rarity. Devs (on stream) described them as "weapons with an extraordinary power balance." On paper the stats read big — +10–12 attrib, +20% stun chance, +25% dmg — so yes, they look potent. Crafting recipes unlock on Jul 29, and the required materials drop only in the new locations, i.e., players will be funneled into the zones for the next few weeks.
