The publishing rights for Guilty Gear Strive in Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East are transferring from Bandai Namco Entertainment to the game's developer, Arc System Works. The studio already publishes the game in Japan, the USA, and South Korea.
The developers thanked the former publisher, Bandai Namco Entertainment, for its support and assistance in distributing their creation. They also assured the community that the deal will not affect the fighting game's operations or the release of the next major update. This update will introduce new fighters, balance reworks, and additional mini-games. The patch is expected this year, though an exact release date is currently unknown.
For reference, Guilty Gear Strive was released on June 11, 2021, and has garnered an excellent 88% positive review rating on Steam. The fighting game is playable on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
