Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties Developers Promise to Fix Demo Issues by Release

The studio Ryu Ga Gotoku has acknowledged the criticism of the demo versions for Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Yakuza 3 Gaiden: Dark Ties. They have promised to fix all shortcomings by the games' release.

The developers plan to release patch 1.11, which will "fix lighting issues and other shortcomings," and will also bring various improvements.

The demo for Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties was released last week and received scathing reviews on Steam, and not just because of the graphics. Journalists have also had time to play the demo and share their impressions.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 is a remake of the third installment in the Like a Dragon series, while Yakuza 3 Gaiden: Dark Ties is a spin-off of Yakuza 3 about Yoshitaka Mine.

Both games are set to release on February 12, 2026, for PC, PlayStation, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Previously, RGG Studio released a fresh trailer dedicated to the mini-games in the orphanage.
