Rainbow Six Siege X to Feature Metal Gear Collaboration — Solid Snake Joins the Roster
The legendary Solid Snake is preparing to infiltrate the ranks of Rainbow Six Siege X operatives. Ubisoft has announced Operation Silent Hunt, launching on March 3rd, with the iconic Metal Gear universe character being the main surprise of the update. The hero is voiced by David Hayter, who has consistently provided Snake's voice for many years.
The operative will have access to a unique gadget, the Soliton Radar MKIII, which allows scanning nearby rooms and marking enemies. In addition to stealth skills, Snake will receive a suppressed TACIT .45 pistol.
Beyond the crossover, the developers will overhaul the balance of six operators: Skopos, Alibi, Ela, Flores, Ying, and Amaru. The beloved maps Coastline, Villa, and Oregon will receive reworks. The atmosphere will be enhanced by two events — one brand new and one well-forgotten old favorite.
