The genshin clone dragonsword awakening without gacha will be released on july 23

The DragonSword: Awakening team has set a date: the anime-action title arrives on PC on July 23. A new gameplay trailer landed too — open world vistas, flashy combo strings, and the elements that earned it the nickname "the Korean Crimson Desert." Still, DragonSword leans toward brighter tones and doesn’t try to mimic the harsh realism of its supposed rival.

Originally pitched as an online game, the project changed course during five years of work: now it’s primarily single-player, with an option to call friends in for co-op. No microtransactions is the headline — you buy either the standard or Deluxe edition, and, per the developers, the in-game costume shop (the one rumoured to cost about half the price of the game) won’t be part of the package. That’s promising, esp. for players tired of nickel-and-diming, but healthy skepticism is fair. Will the novelty stick, or will the ambition fade after the first few hours? Time will tell, I guess.
