Intel Officially Opens Access to XeSS 3 Frame Generation for All Arc Graphics Cards
Intel has taken a significant step towards its users by expanding support for the XeSS 3 technology to all graphics processors in the Arc lineup. Initially, the Multi-Frame Generation (MFG) feature was available only on the latest mobile Panther Lake chips, which caused a wave of discontent among owners of previous-generation graphics. However, methods to activate MFG on all ARC graphics variants starting from the Alchemist generation were found very quickly.
XeSS 3 technology works similarly to NVIDIA's DLSS 3 and AMD's FSR 4 — it uses artificial intelligence algorithms to create intermediate frames, which significantly improves image smoothness in demanding games. For Intel graphics card owners, this update is critically important as it helps compensate for the lack of raw power in modern blockbuster titles. Now, even on budget models like the Arc A310, it will be possible to achieve a comfortable frame rate.
