NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 Finally Gets Ray Reconstruction Support

NVIDIA's DLSS 4.5 upscaler already pushes image quality farther than before — even when you crank settings to extremes — but it hasn't been spotless. One chronic downside is the steep compute burden; that's essentially baked into how the system works now and isn't something that can be undone. The other snag was missing Ray Reconstruction (RR) support for proper RT pipelines, and that one just got tackled.

NVIDIA plans to roll out second‑gen DLSS RR to nearly 30 games by August. Below, you can compare the current DLSS RR quality vs. the refreshed version arriving in August. Good to know: the new gen DLSS RR will be supported on all RTX graphics cards.
