Konami Announces Work on a New Silent Hill Game
It seems that Konami is indeed ready to milk the Silent Hill brand for all it's worth. The company's report for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026 mentions Silent Hill f. By the way, the authors of the latter expressed a desire to work with Konami again. It's quite possible that they are the ones entrusted with developing the new game in the series.
On the other hand, Silent Hill f turned out to be quite niche, and before its release, the Japanese giant likely wasn't entirely sure of its success. However, these are just guesses—the company is in no hurry to reveal all the details.
However, the report once again reminded us about the remake of the first game, being created by Bloober Team. By the way, the latter is preparing to announce a new project, but it's unlikely to be another Silent Hill, given that the team has already taken on reimagining the legendary 1999 horror. However, a theory has already emerged online that the Poles' next game will be a remake of the very niche horror Rule of Rose, released 20 years ago on PS2.
