Integrated Graphics Closes In on Discrete – Intel Arc B370 Surprises in Tests Against RTX 4050M
New benchmark results for the Intel Core Ultra 5 338H processor from the Panther Lake family have forced experts to reconsider the future of gaming laptops. The star of the show was the integrated Arc B370 graphics chip, built on Intel's next-generation Battlemage architecture.
According to data from 3DMark tests, Intel's "integrated" graphics showed results that bring it very close to the level of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 mobile GPU. In two out of three tests, the Arc was actually faster than the 30-watt version of the RTX 4050 Laptop. Of course, an RTX 4050 with a higher power limit easily outperforms Intel's graphics.
