Talented modder fromsoftserve has released a major update for their "remaster" of Bloodborne for the PlayStation 4 emulator on PC. The mod has reverted to its previous name, Bloodborne PC Remaster, and has also gained a couple of new features.
In the new version, the enthusiast fixed several bugs, improved texture quality, removed baked-in shadows, brought the mod's visual style more in line with the original artistic vision of the PS4 game, and more. Overall, the "remaster" boasts new reflections, additional sources of dynamic lighting, and graphical improvements in other aspects.

Judging by the comments, the remaster has only whetted fans' appetites—they are now waiting for a mod with seamless co-op.

Hopes for this diminished after the closure of the studio Bluepoint Games. And recently, Sony also shut down the development of a fan-made remake.
