Ubisoft Introduces New Assassin's Creed Bosses — Heads of Brand, Content, and Production Excellence

Ubisoft came to Reddit to announce who will lead the Assassin's Creed franchise into a bright future. The task has been entrusted to three expert veterans who "will bring their experience, knowledge, and passion."

  • Martin Schelling — Head of Brand, will lead the franchise team, as well as the overall strategy, long-term vision, and development. Previously a producer and senior producer on titles including Revelations, Black Flag, Origins, and Valhalla;
  • Jean Guesdon — Head of Content, will lead the creative direction, support current projects, and help shape the future of the franchise while ensuring it remains true to its DNA. Previously the creative director on Black Flag and Origins, he worked on the series back in the days of Assassin's Creed II;
  • François De Billy — Head of Production Excellence, will support the teams by strengthening production processes and execution. Previously the Senior Director of Global Production, he worked on Revelations, Black Flag, Origins, and Valhalla.

They will form the Assassin's Creed leadership team together with the producer of cross-brand initiatives and head of technological excellence, André-Anne Boisvert, and the Vice President of Brand and Go-to-Market Strategy, Lionel Hiller.

It's wonderful to be back after so many years. Assassin's Creed has been a defining part of my professional life, and returning here feels like coming home. This universe, these characters, these worlds, and of course, the community have always meant so much to me. I am especially grateful for the opportunity to share this journey with all of you again and look forward to telling you more about the next steps in the franchise's evolution. In the meantime… Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.

Jean Guesdon, Head of Content, Assassin's Creed
