Time for crazy experiments: Pax Dei creators ready to disable rules for game test

The latest patch for Pax Dei got held up after the switch to Unreal Engine 5.6 — some bugs showed up and slowed things. The team plans a test on Tue., and one of the experiment ideas is to turn off building durability for a short stretch. That means players can assemble absurd, gravity-defying structures (e.g., cantilevers made of furniture) just to see what happens; they’ll still come down in the end.

At the same time, the EA project Past Fate got a small update: the character editor now lets you zoom the camera while creating a hero, light-hit stamina costs were lowered, and the server list was fixed. If you enjoy fiddling with sliders, the zoom is a welcome tweak — and the stamina change makes basic attacks less of a chore.

Heads-up: protect your eyes and try not to do anything foolish — backup saves and a bit of restraint are advised, seriously.
