Visual Novel Slay the Princess Sells a Million Copies
The team at Black Tabby Games announced that sales of their visual novel Slay the Princess have reached the one million mark. As the developers admitted, at the beginning of their journey, they couldn't even imagine that a game in this genre would achieve such a result.

Here's a reminder of the premise of Slay the Princess:
You are standing on a forest path. At the end of this path is a cabin. In the basement of that cabin is a Princess. Your task is to end her. If you fail, the world will end. She will do everything in her power to stop you: flirt, lie, make grand promises, and kill you over and over again if it comes to that. Make sure it doesn't come to that. You do care about the fate of the world, don't you?
You can expect fully voiced dialogue, hand-drawn backgrounds and items, and a non-linear story. Since its release, the game has been updated to The Pristine Cut version, which increased the amount of content by more than a third — adding new chapters, scenes, voiced lines, and more.
Slay the Princess is available for purchase on PC (Steam, GOG), PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. Russian subtitles are available.
