The novel tells the story of an unnamed woman. Bright moments, terrible tragedies, and an undying love for painting are woven into a complex story spanning an entire lifetime. It's a short tale about a very long stretch of time, about what was lost, found, and never came to be.
The visuals, created in 2D using photo rotoscoping, are particularly striking. Soft lines and watercolor hues convey the gentle blurriness of images from the distant past. The graphics are complemented by pleasant sound design and the original composition "Strange Journey." Together, they create an atmosphere of bright melancholy and immerse the player in the protagonist's tenderly preserved memories.
