Developers from the German-British studio Bleakmill announced that the sequel to their story-driven horror shooter Industria will arrive next week — April 15.

Industria 2 picks up with Nora, an East Berlin scientist who slips into a parallel reality on the eve of the Cold War’s end. She nests in an abandoned block and scavenges parts to build a device that might send her home. After a year of tinkering, events derail the plan and an AI called ATLAS gets loose — the premise sounds like an experiment gone sideways (or so the blurb says).

The main features of Industria 2 highlighted by the developers include:

  • Gameplay that leans into immersion: crafting systems and physics that aim to feel tangible.
  • A narrative-driven run — about 4–6 hours — focused on characters meant to leave an impression.
  • Exploration of derelict ruins stalked by hostile machines.
  • Five weapon classes, each with upgrade options.
  • Body-horror with a mechanical bent.
  • Sound design presented with cinematic flair.
  • Visual upgrades over the first game, built on Unreal Engine 5.

As of now, Industria 2 is announced only for PC (e.g., Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store). Language support currently lists only English.
