Splitgate: Arena Reloaded Developers Persevere, Continue to Update the Game

The developers of the shooter Splitgate: Arena Reloaded have released an update, accompanied by a spectacular trailer for the new game mode — Arena Royale.

In Arena Royale, 24 players divided into teams can participate simultaneously. Battles take place on one of four available biomes: Outskirts, Glacier, Drought, or Rift. The key feature of the mode is the respawn system. After death, a player returns to the fight, but the waiting time gradually increases. The team that has at least one player left on the map by the final moment wins.

During battles, players will be able to upgrade their weapons right in the heat of combat. Each round can be accompanied by random events, adding extra unpredictability to the matches. For successful kills, teams earn credits, which can later be exchanged for useful resources. Furthermore, additional equipment crates automatically unlock during gameplay, providing participants with the necessary gear.

The update also brought other significant changes to the game. Two new maps were added — Trihard and Runway. The developers conducted thorough balancing of various weapon types, aiming to make the gameplay more fair and engaging.

In addition to content innovations, the team focused on the technical side of the project. The update optimized the game's performance and fixed bugs that previously hindered a comfortable gaming experience.
