Life is Strange Creators from DON’T NOD Show Aphelion Gameplay
Studio DON’T NOD has released a new trailer for their sci-fi adventure Aphelion. The 5-minute video offers a brief demonstration of the gameplay.
The events of Aphelion unfold in 2060, when Earth has become uninhabitable and humanity has had to seek a new home. The choice fell on Persephone—the ninth planet in the Solar System—where the research expedition "Hope-01" was sent, led by two brave astronauts: Ariane and Thomas.
The mission went wrong from the very start. The heroes crash-land in an icy world, and now their task is to survive and find each other.
In terms of gameplay, the developers are offering a third-person adventure action game with platforming elements. Both heroes have their own set of tools that will come in handy while exploring locations and searching for the true cause of the crash. Furthermore, players will encounter a hostile life form, where stealth is the preferred approach in confrontation.
Aphelion is scheduled for release this spring on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series, including Game Pass. Russian text localization is available.
