The Corruption Update for Star Trek Online Has Been Released
Star Trek Online: Corruption, the latest update, is now available on PC. This is a special update, as Star Trek Online celebrates its 16th anniversary, and it adds a special anniversary episode, a new TFO, and an anniversary event.
In the Curse of Phrygia episode, dedicated to the game's 16th anniversary, we will once again meet Captain Ezri Dax, who calls upon you for help. Meeting her at MIDAS station, you will face the threat of a Chimer invasion, which endangers not only the infected communication system but the entire galaxy. This is just the beginning, and players can expect battles amidst waves of psionic beacons that will summon enemy reinforcements. Upon successfully completing this mission for the first time, you will receive the Operator costume worn by an ally in this episode. The update also adds two new hairstyles: Pixie and Shaggy.
The new Task Force Operation is called Belly of the Beast, and this five-player ground operation aims to prevent the fall of the MIDAS array. Hold the line against the Chimer until reinforcements arrive.
