Crossout Developers Announce Space Extraction-Action Game Star Wrath
Gaijin Entertainment and Targem Games have announced Star Wrath — a free-to-play multiplayer space extraction-action game. The game is set to release in 2026. A closed beta test has already begun, with invitations being sent out in waves.
Star Wrath is set in a future where Earth is destroyed and humanity wanders among the ruins of civilization. Players take on the role of Wanderers — pilots who embark on dangerous raids for resources. The objective is simple: fly into a zone, collect loot, and escape alive. Both AI enemies and other raiders can get in your way.
Targem Games is known for its love of deep customization mechanics — and this time, the team has decided to stay true to itself. The main feature of Star Wrath is a flexible ship construction system. You can assemble a vessel from modules to suit your style or modify ready-made blueprints. Various classes are available — from fast interceptors to heavily armored destroyers. Mass, engines, and configuration directly affect speed, inertia, and maneuverability.
Every shot counts. Ships feature a multi-stage damage model: first the hull takes damage, then the damage penetrates inside. Losing key systems can quickly turn a resource hunt into a struggle for survival.
The developers promise realistic physics and environmental interaction. In cosmic nebulae, you can hide from scanners, set up an ambush, and escape with your loot. Anomalies provide room for tactics and unexpected maneuvers.
The game will also feature pilots with unique skills. Players will be able to collect DNA samples from fallen enemies and unlock their abilities to enhance their own build.
Star Wrath will offer battles in various corners of the future Solar System. You can act alone or team up with other pilots. You can only build the most formidable ship in the Solar System on PC (Steam). Star Wrath will, of course, include Russian language support.
