Active Matter Introduces Temporary "Solo" Raids
The developers of the shooter Active Matter have announced the launch of temporary "Solo" format raids. The key feature of this mode is that participation in raids is exclusively for solo players.
In terms of gameplay, "Solo" raids are practically no different from the familiar PvP raids: players still need to survive in harsh conditions, complete assigned tasks, and collect valuable loot. However, the absence of allies makes the challenges significantly more difficult, requiring maximum concentration, tactical thinking, and honed combat skills from participants.
Maps for the mode will be updated daily—the location changes automatically at the same time each day. The pool of available maps includes "Dandy," "Lake," and "Factory." The first playable space in the "Solo" mode will be the "Dandy" map. It will set the tone for the experimental format and allow players to assess how comfortable and engaging it is to complete raids entirely alone.
Currently, the "Solo" mode has been launched as an experiment. The development team encourages the community to actively share their impressions: leave feedback on social media and talk about what changes and additions they would like to see in the future. Player feedback will help determine the fate of the mode—whether it becomes a permanent part of Active Matter or is further refined based on audience wishes.
