Post Didn't Pass, But Post Accepted — ASRock Motherboard "Killed" Even the R5 9600X
It seems the reliability issues with the combination of new AMD processors and ASRock motherboards have extended beyond the top-tier segment. Following the high-profile scandals with the flagship Ryzen 7 9800X3D, reports of the sudden demise of much more modest solutions have begun to appear online. This time, it's the six-core Ryzen 5 9600X that has gone to its grave.
In the last month alone, at least four confirmed cases of the "death" of a 9600X in ASRock motherboards have been recorded. The symptoms are always similar: a computer that had been working stably for several months suddenly freezes during simple tasks (for example, while watching a video) and no longer turns on. The motherboard's CPU or DRAM error indicators light up, and replacing other components doesn't help — the processor simply stops showing any signs of life.
