Solasta 2 Developers Reveal Classes and Subclasses for Early Access

The studio developing the role-playing game Solasta 2 has published a new developer diary, detailing the classes and subclasses available during the early access stage.

The game features a classic genre set of base classes: Fighter, Wizard, Rogue, Paladin, Warlock, and Cleric. Each of them has unique subclasses with their own mechanics and specializations.

The Fighter will receive two subclasses:

  • The Commander — focused on social skills (persuasion and intimidation), and can also support allies in battle by aiding their attacks and defense;
  • The Aether Warden — can use spells and has bonuses for maintaining concentration on their spells.

The Wizard will also offer several archetypes:

  • The Court Mage — distinguished by improved defense and the ability to teleport to allies;
  • The School of Ruin — specializes in dealing additional damage and reflecting a portion of damage back to the enemy.

The Rogue will be represented by two subclasses:

  • The Shadowcaster — gains the "Sneak Attack" ability at early levels and can choose schools of magic to study;
  • The Scavenger — focused on dealing physical damage and evading enemy attacks.

The Paladin will offer the following options:

  • The Oath of Judgement — capable of immobilizing targets, dealing additional damage, and strengthening allies;
  • The Oath of Liberation — can blind enemies and protect friends from negative effects.

The Warlock will be available in two versions:

  • The Mana Painter — gains temporary hit points and enhances their attacks using charisma;
  • The Star Child — deals additional damage when using metamagic and gains advantage on attack rolls as they level up.

The Cleric will offer three archetypes:

  • Life Domain — focused on supporting allies and healing;
  • Oblivion Domain — helps in fighting death;
  • Battle Domain — allows the use of spells even when both hands are occupied.

The release of Solasta 2 in early access is scheduled for March 12, 2026. Players will take control of a group of four heroes, explore the mysteries of ancient lands, and battle dangerous foes.
