Release Date Announced for Full Version of Isometric RPG Banquet for Fools
Studio Hannah and Joseph Games has announced the exact release date for the full version of their isometric party-based RPG Banquet for Fools — the game will leave Early Access on February 26, 2026. The project has been in Early Access since September 2024.
Coinciding with the announcement of the final date, the developers have released a major version 6.0 update, which is already available to players. This update enriches the game with new content: fresh maps, dangerous enemies, and story episodes have been added, bringing the project closer to its intended final form.
Banquet for Fools immerses players in the atmosphere of the mysterious island of Invimon. According to the plot, the local lord assembles a squad of four volunteers to investigate the mysterious disappearance of all inhabitants from one of the settlements. Players must form their own squad of guards, carefully selecting fighters with unique skills and characteristics. These parameters will directly influence dialogues and ways of interacting with the game world.
The developers have focused on authenticity and atmosphere: the game intentionally lacks familiar navigation systems. There is no automatic compass or standard quest log — players will have to navigate using ancient scrolls and hidden clues in the environment.
The combat system combines dynamics and strategy: battles take place in real time, but tactical pause can be activated at any moment to issue commands to squad members. Players' arsenal includes a variety of weapons, mystical pagan spells, and special bard songs that provide valuable combat bonuses.
By the release of version 1.0 (02/26/2026), the developers plan to:
- complete the storyline;
- add new maps;
- expand the range of armor and weapons;
- increase the number of NPC models.
Currently, Banquet for Fools is available on PC and is gathering very positive reviews from the gaming community. The developers warn that after exiting Early Access, the game's price may be revised.
