Pirate rpg sea of remnants by netease gets a release date

NetEase Games has given a window for the pirate RPG Sea of Remnants: Q3 2026 for the Chinese market. At the same time the devs have started taking sign-ups for another closed beta phase — if you want in, the official game pages are the place to go.

Joker Studio’s game doesn’t mimic familiar fantasy tropes; its setting and visuals feel purposely off-kilter. Players wake up as a ragged sailor with amnesia and are pushed into an ocean that keeps asking questions about who they used to be.

Combat flips between two distinct feels. On land you get tac. turn-based skirmishes during island raids, while at sea the action becomes RT naval combat where you actually command a ship and fight monsters rather than watching a thin UI tick down numbers.

The planned launch isn’t limited to phones — NetEase lists ports for PC and PS5 as targets — though, as with many large releases, timing could shift. If you want to try the game before that, applications for the beta are already available on the official pages.
