PAYDAY 2 Receives a Small but Fresh Update — Created by Fans

Starbreeze, which handed over the reins of Payday 2 to modders, continues to prove that old things can not just get better, but become something entirely different. Recently, the community presented Update 243, which turns a system seemingly familiar to every fan since 2013 on its head. It's about mask customization: the archaic principle of "one material plus two colors" has finally been retired, replaced by a truly flexible mechanism.

Now, unique textures can be used as a full-fledged color palette, opening up a realm for experimentation that players could only dream of.

Along with the update, the Jacket Character Pack has returned to the game. Previously, access to it was a privilege for those who had Hotline Miami 2 in their library, but now the aesthetics of insane retro-violence are once again available to all who desire it — including Jacket himself, his masks, weapons, and unique perks.
