Colorful Economic Simulator Star Birds Releases Flora & Fauna Update
The developers of the game Star Birds have introduced the extensive Flora & Fauna update, marking a new chapter in the avian crew's adventure. Players leave the icy Ravsicle and head to the third star sector — Paradeira, which is strikingly different from previous locations. While cold and snow once reigned, players are now greeted with lush, life-filled landscapes.
Paradeira brings many new features. Special attention is paid to alien flora: on asteroid surfaces, players can discover Volt Shrooms — unusual plants that serve as powerful energy sources. Moreover, players can now try their hand at gardening: the game introduces seeds, pots, and fertilizers, allowing them to grow their own plants and experiment with agricultural techniques.
The arsenal of buildings has also been significantly expanded. The game debuts structures such as the Bakery, Bio Lab, and Bird Restaurant. These buildings unlock new possibilities for food production, adding additional strategic layers to the gameplay. Players can now cook pizza and popcorn, as well as create rocket fuel necessary for long flights in the birds' cryo-eggs.
However, Paradeira holds mysteries as well. Mysterious tentacles emerge from asteroid craters, their intentions unclear. While their purpose remains unrevealed, the developers hint that a proven way to interact with the unknown is through tasty food. This adds an element of surprise and encourages players to seek unconventional solutions.
One of the most anticipated additions is the level generator for Free Play mode. Users can now create their own locations with customizable parameters, tailoring difficulty and conditions to their playstyle. This opens up room for experimentation and extends the content's lifecycle.
The update includes three new levels, which are noticeably longer and more challenging than the starting ones. They retain Star Birds' classic puzzle mechanics but enrich them with elements of gardening and food production. These innovations not only add depth to the gameplay but also provide additional ways to increase the Star Score.
The update poses a particular challenge for fans of strategic planning. Due to the presence of aliens, building space is limited, requiring maximum ingenuity from the player. One must prove themselves either as a skilled factory designer or as a master at building relationships with the local inhabitants.
"Flora & Fauna" is already available to all Star Birds owners. This is the first major step in the project's development ahead of its full release, promising players fresh experiences and new challenges in the beloved universe.
