Multiplayer Update Coming to Teardown on PC on March 12th

The voxel sandbox Teardown is preparing to introduce the most requested feature among fans — online multiplayer. As reported by Tuxedo Labs, the ability to have fun with up to twelve people will be available in just two weeks.

Multiplayer will arrive in Teardown alongside the largest update since its release. Gamers will be able to play through the base game's campaign together, mess around in free play, or enjoy a collection of game modes like "Capture the Flag" or "Deathmatch." All of this will take place not only on maps from the base Teardown — two new maps and arenas will be added.

Furthermore, the developers will allow users to create their own maps, modes, tools, and much more to make Teardown even more interesting. During preliminary playtests, modders have already created hundreds of modes tailored for multiplayer. For example, "The Floor is Lava" and "Scavenger Hunt."

Initially, online multiplayer will be available in Teardown on PC (Steam) — starting March 12th. By the end of the year, the feature will land on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. If you want to try the addition earlier, the update's beta branch is still available on Steam.

The game has Russian language support.
