The Japanese survival horror Resident Evil Requiem launched on Steam today, February 27, at 08:00 MSK and instantly became the most successful game in the cult series on PC: within an hour and a half, the new release reached a peak online count of 267.5 thousand players, rising to 320 thousand by the evening and continuing to grow. It outpaced the 2023 Resident Evil 4 by as much as 100 thousand.
Moreover, this is the third most successful release of all time for Capcom: Monster Hunter Wilds with its 1.39 million is out of reach, but Monster Hunter: World managed only 334.7 thousand — and Leon and Grace have a weekend ahead of them.
