Just Make a Proper PvE Mode Already: ARC Raiders Removes Player-Killing Missions
Embark Studios has released an update for ARC Raiders — Shrouded Sky. The update adds two new ARC-class enemies, a "Hurricane" weather condition, fresh missions, and a new playable area on the Dam Battlegrounds map.
However, the main change concerns the PvP component. The developers have completely removed trials focused on player-versus-player combat — for example, dealing damage with a specific type of ammunition or looting defeated raiders. These missions encouraged an aggressive playstyle and direct confrontations.
Instead, the studio has reworked existing trials and added new ones, but without the emphasis on PvP.
