Hytale Officially Adds Russian Language and a Flamethrower — "For Creativity"
The developers of Hytale have released the third major update a month after the start of early access. The studio is switching to a new schedule: test patches will be released weekly, while stable builds will arrive every two to six weeks.
The main new feature is the addition of Russian language localization to the game.
Furthermore, an early version of the taming system has been introduced. Friendly animals can be made companions by feeding them their favorite food. Tamed creatures do not run away, allow themselves to be petted, fed, and some can be milked, sheared, or used as mounts.
The game now features custom markers with customizable names, colors, and icons.
Gameplay additions include sickles for harvesting multiple crops at once, revamped rope traversal, and improved necromancy. Summoned skeletons are now faster and no longer take damage from their master.
Weapon balance has been revised, ballistics have been improved, and bows and crossbows now take ammunition directly from the backpack.
The update includes world generation optimization, bug fixes, and groundwork for upcoming story chapters.
