Hytale Developers Release Hotfix with Performance Improvements

The creators of the sandbox game Hytale have released a hotfix with performance improvements. They fixed issues with shadow rendering and reduced stuttering on Nvidia graphics cards. They also improved server stability and fixed crashes that occurred, in particular, due to weather effects and armor.

A small number of gameplay tweaks were made: they adjusted the compass functionality, improved teleportation logic and block placement in creative mode, and fixed the crossbow.

Hypixel Studios CEO Simon Collins-Laflamme, responding to player questions, promised that the developers will continue to release updates to improve performance.

It was previously reported that in just two weeks since the release of Hytale in early access, over 3000 mods have been created for it, and the number of mod downloads has surpassed the 10 million mark. The developers intend to make the tools for users even more accessible so that everyone can engage in modding.
