Hideki Kamiya Wished Death Upon All Who Leak Information About Resident Evil Requiem
I'm pretty sure near the end of Resident Evil 2's development, there was a similar leak that ended up in a weekly photo magazine... For your own selfish, self-satisfying reasons, you trample on the feelings of users who are looking forward to the game and the creators who poured their effort into making it. It's a despicable act that destroys everyone's happiness and deserves ten thousand deaths... May you be cursed to never play a game again... https://t.co/iKueo8axFC

Only a few days remain until the release of Resident Evil Requiem, and developers at Capcom have already urged gamers to be wary of spoilers from leaked gameplay footage. This incident did not escape the notice of former Resident Evil series director Hideki Kamiya, who decided to drench the users of ex-Twitter (whom he hasn't blocked yet) with his wave of anger.
The renowned game designer harshly condemned everyone even remotely involved in the appearance of such leaks, as they not only spoil the experience for players but also directly harm the developers:
I'm almost certain that towards the end of Resident Evil 2's development, a similar leak happened, which then appeared in a weekly magazine. For the sake of selfish self-affirmation, you rob everyone of joy, ignoring the feelings of people eagerly awaiting the game's release and the developers who worked so hard to create it. It's a vile act deserving of ten thousand deaths. May you be cursed so that you can never play games again. — Hideki Kamiya
Resident Evil Requiem launches on February 27th for PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 with full Russian localization.
