Denuvo in DOOM: The Dark Ages Falls
Hacker 0xZeOn has claimed to have cracked DOOM: The Dark Ages, which was released last May. The PC version of the game used Denuvo protection, but it was bypassed not by traditional means, but via a hypervisor-based method.
The peculiarity of this crack is that it requires disabling the computer's security systems to work, which creates significant security risks for the user. Because of this, within the piracy community, many do not consider this method a proper crack, deeming it too dangerous to use.
