CD Projekt RED hires composer of WoW, StarCraft 2, and Diablo 3 as sound director CD Projekt RED has found its sound director in Russell Brower, whose work is familiar to many gamers.
The composer held senior positions at Blizzard for a dozen years until he was laid off in 2017.
His music has been featured in World of Warcraft since The Burning Crusade, StarCraft II, Diablo III, and Overwatch.
For a long time, Brower was a freelancer, and recently he had a hand in Tarisland. If we dig deeper, we find a three-time Emmy Award winner who started out doing sound for cartoons, including the cult classic Batman: The Animated Series.
