Borderlands 4 Gets Photo Mode and a 2026 Roadmap
An update for Borderlands 4 has been released, adding the promised photo mode from last summer. However, the captured images are not saved by the game itself, but by the PC or console. For Steam, this is F12, Print Screen, or the Snipping Tool, while on PS5 and Xbox Series, you need to press the corresponding button on the controller.
Additionally, Gearbox has published a roadmap for 2026. In the first quarter, the expansion Legend of the Stone Demon will be released, including a new mission and legendary loot, as well as a themed Vault Card with 24 cosmetic items and 4 gear items. Similar DLCs will also be released in the second and third quarters of 2026. Plus, a paid story mission pack, a new raid boss, and much more.
Recall that Borderlands 4 was released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series on September 12. A version for the Switch 2 is also in development — it was planned for release on October 3, but was ultimately postponed indefinitely.
