Developer Pearl Abyss has announced a collaboration with Fortnite, timed to coincide with the start of pre-orders for the game Crimson Desert. Those who pre-order the open-world action-adventure before its release or purchase the game on launch day will receive the exclusive "Cliff" skin in Fortnite.
The promotion started on January 22, 2026, in the Epic Games Store. The skin itself will be automatically added to the player's Fortnite collection on March 19, provided the purchase was made from the same Epic account. The outfit will be available on all platforms that support Fortnite, as long as the console account is linked to the Epic Games account.
In the Crimson Desert storyline, the player takes on the role of Cliff, a member of the "Gray Mane" mercenary group, and sets out on a quest across the continent of Pywel. The collaboration allows fans to don the appearance of the main protagonist in the battle royale. This skin may also appear in the regular Fortnite Item Shop at a later date.
