Alas, but it seems the Indiana Jones series have been canceled
Lucasfilm has canceled work on an animated series and a TV series about Indiana Jones. The project, codenamed "Reggie," was being developed by director Rodrigo Blaas and was supposed to show the hero's adventures between the events of the films.
Specific reasons for the cancellation were not given. Among the possible factors are the muted box office response to the last film, "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny," and Lucasfilm's traditionally high standards, which lead the studio to shut down projects that do not align with its vision for the franchise.
Previously, the studio also halted development of a series about Abner Ravenwood, Jones's mentor.
