Action Roguelike Armatus to Get a Demo Soon
Publisher Fictions and developer Counterplay Games have announced that the roguelike Armatus will receive a demo version on February 23rd. It will be available on Steam until March 2nd.
Here's a reminder of the game's premise:
The world is gone. In the new reality, demons have overrun the streets of a once-living city. Collapse is inevitable. A group of survivors has hidden in a sacred shelter. They believe no one else is left alive and that only you can overcome the chaos and save them. Meanwhile, the ruins of Paris are turning into a living hell with powerful and unimaginable monsters whose strength is constantly growing.
You will have to exterminate enemies using a scythe and firearms. Powerful active and passive abilities will also come in handy during combat. Your first run is unlikely to be successful, but with each attempt, you will gain experience, and your character will unlock new possibilities.
Armatus is set to launch in 2026 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2. Russian language support has not been announced.
