Marathon Soundtrack Preview Now Available on Music Streaming Platforms

A preview of the soundtrack for the extraction shooter Marathon has been released on Spotify and Apple Music. Fans of the game can now listen to the first compositions that set the atmosphere for the project's futuristic world.

According to preliminary information, the full soundtrack album will be split into two parts, containing at least 27 tracks. The music is composed by Ryan Lott, founder of the band Son Lux, also known for his work on the soundtrack for the film "Everything Everywhere All at Once" and the game Tell Me Why. Among the first published compositions is the track "We Stole a Moon."

Listeners note that the music organically complements Marathon's visual style. The futuristic motifs and tense atmosphere of the soundtracks highlight the game's aesthetic and enhance immersion into its universe.

Marathon is scheduled for release on March 5th, launching on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series. Ahead of the launch, the developers have also announced an open test, running from February 26th to March 2nd. Participants will be able to explore two game zones (Perimeter and Dire Marsh) and complete early contracts for five factions: CyberAcme, NuCaloric, Traxus, MIDA, and Arachne.
