A demo for the cooperative shooter John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando has become available on Steam. The game is a first-person zombie action title designed for a squad of four players.
The plot revolves around the Slime God — a monster awakened after a failed experiment with the Earth's core energy. The players' task is to unite as a squad of Toxic Commandos and stop the infection using an arsenal of weapons, vehicles, and a class system.
The project is being developed with the participation of director John Carpenter and is crafted in the aesthetic of cult 1980s horror films.
