It Seems the Watch Dogs Franchise Is Over: Ubisoft No Longer Believes in the Series
Insider Tom Henderson reported that the future of the Watch Dogs franchise at Ubisoft remains highly uncertain. Although the series is not officially closed, there are currently no concrete plans within the studio to continue it.
According to Henderson, there is a tense atmosphere inside Ubisoft, with many employees leaving the company voluntarily. At the same time, the company still has an extensive portfolio of projects, including new installments of Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, The Division, and others. However, the insider suggests that some of these games might be canceled in the future.
