You've Never Seen a Witcher Like This Before — Reigns: The Witcher Announced
Devolver Digital and studio Nerial, in collaboration with CD Projekt RED, have announced Reigns: The Witcher — a new game set in The Witcher universe in the format of a card-based adventure. The project will be released on PC and mobile on February 25.
Reigns: The Witcher will become part of the Reigns series, known for its minimalist controls and choice system where every decision influences the story's development. Previously, Nerial released several standalone games in the series and Reigns: Game of Thrones — an adaptation of Game of Thrones.
This time, the story centers on Geralt of Rivia, with Dandelion serving as the narrator, recounting the adventures of the "White Wolf" in the form of his ballads.

As in previous games in the series, players will have to make morally complex decisions, survive in a brutal fantasy world, and deal with quests that are rarely what they seem at first glance. Hunting monsters, conflicts with inhabitants, everyday details like relaxing in a hot bath — all of this becomes part of the story, which is woven from thousands of possible narrative combinations.
The game will feature familiar characters from The Witcher universe, including Yennefer of Vengerberg, the alluring sorceress Triss Merigold, and the well-known lady-killer Vesemir.
Special attention will be paid to Dandelion himself: the bard will not only tell stories but also develop his own career, perform outside of taverns, unlock new characters and events, and shape increasingly large-scale and epic plots.
