Yakuza Kiwami 3 to Receive a Demo Version

Recently, employees of SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio held a special event for journalists, where they had the opportunity to try out a small portion of the content from Yakuza Kiwami 3. Simultaneously, the developers announced that a public demo version is currently in preparation, with details to be revealed over time.

Media representatives got to experience both the updated content from Yakuza 3 and various new features of the remake, including the story expansion Dark Ties, additional activities, mini-games, and side stories. For example:

  • At the Stardust host club, a sudden staff shortage arises, so Kiryu decides to help the local employees and take on the role of an impromptu host.
  • Kiryu finds an adult magazine near his orphanage and decides to bury it. Unfortunately, a local dog digs it up, and now the hero needs to catch it to prevent the inappropriate material from falling into the hands of children.
  • Kiryu buys himself a new phone and discovers the social network LaLaLa Loveland on it. In this app, the hero can find friends all over the city and also earn various rewards for discovering secrets. The phone itself can also be customized.
  • Kiryu can learn about the so-called "Reapers" — particularly dangerous former members of the Tojo clan who are causing disturbances. At Kashiwagi's request, the protagonist must find them and beat them up.
  • As for Mine, the developers have prepared a series of investigations for him in the style of Judgment, in which the "hero" must stop a serial killer.
  • In the karaoke of Yakuza Kiwami 3, two new songs have been added. Of course, Baka Mitai is still there as well.

Yakuza Kiwami 3 launches on February 11th for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2 with Russian text localization.
