Goblin Sushi Bar Goblin Sushi Launches Early Access in February

The Old Cake Factory studio has announced the release date for an unusual game — a restaurant simulator with roguelike elements Goblin Sushi. The project will launch in early access on February 9, 2026. The game will be simultaneously available on Steam as well as on mobile platforms — Android and iOS.

Even before the official release, the project managed to make a name for itself thanks to the demo, which remains available until January 26. The demo version gathered an impressive rating on Steam — 99% positive reviews.

Players actively discuss the game, highlighting its addictive gameplay and unique style. Many describe Goblin Sushi as "cute and disgusting at the same time," emphasizing its originality. There are many comparisons to the popular simulator Good Pizza, Great Pizza, but the project’s uniqueness lies in its goblin theme and roguelike elements. Some players already believe that the game looks almost finished and has every chance of becoming a hit on the indie scene.

In the early access version, the developers plan to significantly expand the content. Players are promised new characters, including a demon goblin. Cursed upgrades, an upgrade shop, a meta-progression system, and a new boss will also appear in the game. These additions are expected to make the gameplay even richer and more varied.

In Goblin Sushi, players take on the management of a sushi bar serving goblins. The task is to prepare dishes from rather dubious ingredients while avoiding bankruptcy. The combination of absurd humor, dynamic gameplay, and roguelike elements creates a distinctive game style that has already sparked lively interest among indie game fans.

Given the success of the demo and plans to expand content, Goblin Sushi is rightfully considered one of the most anticipated releases of 2026.
