Watching the Housing System Cinematic in MMORPG World of Warcraft
Blizzard has unveiled its plans for 2026 for World of Warcraft. The main announcements concern the new Midnight expansion and the classic versions of the game.
The World of Warcraft: Midnight expansion will be released on March 2nd. After its launch, it will receive two major updates: one will add a new Prop Hunt mode and a raid, while the second, in the summer, will expand the storyline, open an additional raid, dungeon, a new boss, and improve the housing system. Later, towards the end of the year, a new type of group content will appear—Labyrinths, reminiscent in format of the Expeditions from the previous expansion.
Classic servers will also receive updates. On February 6th, anniversary Burning Crusade Classic servers will open with a gradual release of content. In spring and summer, the development of Mists of Pandaria Classic will continue, culminating in the launch of the "Siege of Orgrimmar" raid.
