Ubisoft offers a free trial of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, but only for 5 hours
Ubisoft has launched a free play promotion for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora this weekend on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series (access from Russia may be problematic). It will last until January 26th.
Unfortunately, you won't be able to spend all that time on Pandora — the trial is limited to 5 hours. However, this is just enough time to try out the game's third-person view mode. This mode was added in early December 2025.
Furthermore, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora recently received the "From the Ashes" expansion, which brought a new story, locations, and visual effects.
The adventure action game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series since December 2023. It has become part of the canon of James Cameron's Avatar film universe.
Unfortunately, the game failed to impress journalists and gamers. And its creators at Massive Entertainment were affected by a wave of layoffs at Ubisoft.
