Tomorrow the "South Park" Characters Will Appear in Fortnite
Remember "South Park"? The creators of Fortnite certainly do — Epic Games and South Park Studios have released the first trailer for the South Park x Fortnite collaboration. The iconic animated series will merge with the battle royale this week. The event starts tomorrow, January 9, and will run until February 5.
Stan, Kyle, Cartman, Kenny, and Butters will visit Fortnite. All characters have received special "mecha-skins" with references to the show. Epic uses this format for characters with non-standard proportions: the model allows for unified hitboxes, which are mandatory for all skins in the game.
As part of the event, a new point of interest called Cartmanland will appear on the map. Unlike the "Simpsons" crossover, where the entire island was changed, this involves just a specific zone.

The update will also bring a significant gameplay innovation: for the first time, squads of five players will temporarily appear in Fortnite. In the video plot, Butters is not included in the standard squad, causing his alter ego Professor Chaos to change the rules with the Stick of Truth.
The game will also feature themed items, including cheese poofs. Towelie and other series characters will have cameos in Cartmanland. There is no information about additional skins yet, but considering the scale of past collaborations, their appearance seems likely.
