Ubisoft Boss Reveals Plans for Upcoming Releases: Two Far Cry Games and Lots of Assassin's Creed
Were You Expecting Something Else?
Ubisoft has completed its restructuring, creating five autonomous "creative houses." In an interview with Variety, company CEO Yves Guillemot revealed details of the new strategy: the focus is on key franchises and technological innovation.
Vantage Studios, one of the new "houses," will focus on developing Assassin's Creed — several games in the series are currently in development, both single-player and multiplayer. According to Guillemot, the new model gives teams more freedom, which should improve the quality of releases.
Simultaneously, the company is working on two new projects in the Far Cry universe.
Additionally, on February 23, 2026, Rainbow Six Mobile will have its global release, riding the wave of the franchise's growing popularity.
Ubisoft continues to develop the experimental AI Teammates, which adapts to players' actions. Guillemot is confident that the combination of the new structure, focus on key brands, and technology will help strengthen the company's position and expand its player community, which already exceeds 30 million people.
