"Witcher in Dune Style" — New DLC for The Witcher 3 "may" send players to Zerrikania
A rumor about a new story expansion for The Witcher 3, supposedly being developed by Fool's Theory, surfaced last year. CD Projekt RED neither confirmed nor denied the information then. However, Fool's Theory does have an unannounced project with a team of over 100 people.
Since then, the rumor has been enriched with new "details": Polish insiders, analysts, and even media are fueling the speculation. For example, the DLC's release could have been planned, though journalists emphasize that the information about Zerrikania might be outdated.
Last year, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt celebrated its 10th anniversary. Its sales surpassed 60 million copies last spring. Meanwhile, CDPR is officially working on "The Witcher 4" featuring Ciri as the protagonist, which is expected to release no earlier than 2027.
